I noticed this fallow deer buck and a magpie sitting next to it staring intently at the deer's penis. I tried to move into a better position, figuring I'd get a funny shot out of it when I noticed the magpie jumping on the deers back. It moved a few steps forward. Right after this shot I spooked the deer.
Strange behaviour, I've never seen this before. Reminds me of those birds that feed of the insects of african buffalo.

Do not trust Air France in Winter! Last January, I went to Lomé, Togo to study the New Year's festival of a traditional priest. The flight from Munich to Paris was delayed, so I missed the connecting flight in Charles de Gaulle (no details...). This meant two nights to spend in Roissy, bacause AIR France offers that flight on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday during that season. They only paid for one night and just for lodging (we got a voucher for eating in one of the fast-foods in Ch d. G.). Thursday evening, I arrived in Lomé, but not my luggage. They told me: come back Saturday (for that, I missed the saturday evening session of the ritual). Nope. Monday I went to Air France office in Lomé. No results. Tuesday I had to go back. One of my bags arrived with the aircraft that was to take me back to Europe. For the other, my friends in Lomé had to go to the airport and look for it. I got it, when I stayed in Lomé in September. The main problem seems to be with cold days, since they do not have enough machines to clear off the ice from the planes. Also, people who had booked the later flight from Munich to Paris, that also was delayed, were able to take the earlier of the delayed flights. If I had had the chance to take that flight, I wouldn't have missed my connective flight. In September, a friend of mine missed his flight in Zurich (via Paris to Lomé). They told him, that also his return flight was invalid because of that and he had to book a totally new flight! The good thing on Air France is the food they serve and that you can have more than one drink without any problems...
Sorry for the rather lengthy comment.
